Karia started Kouture Crochet with a vision of exceptional, timeless and carefully crafted crochet accessories. She uses only 100% natural fibers to create products that are luxurious yet utilitarian and unique.
As a woman living with disabilities (she has Dandy Walker Hydrocephalus, a congenital brain malformation), she can’t work a 9 to 5 job, so Kouture Crochet is her way of following her passion as an artist and supporting herself without depending on outside aid. She also donates at least 10% of her proceeds to UNICEF K.I.N.D., a fund that provides desks for children in Malawi.
